Stephanie Devaux, LMT

After graduating from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage - Rochester in 2007, I began my career as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in a spa setting. This allowed me the opportunity to refine and learn new modalities not only with educators from around the country, but also with the dynamic group of massage therapists I worked with. Upon the arrival of my second child, I decided to jump into the small business world and opened Penfield Therapeutic Massage in June 2012. My passion for learning and exploring all the ways that massage therapy can help support health goals has led me to attend a variety of continuing education courses in:

  • stretching & sports massage

  • pediatric massage

  • cupping

  • energy work

  • end of life care

  • Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

  • muscle specific treatment approaches

In addition to providing massage therapy in my office, I have also worked backstage at various concert venues in New York State, in the training room with semi-professional athletes, and outdoors at local running races in Rochester. While my primary means of delivering massage therapy is on a treatment table, I have also provided chair massage at places such as Elizabeth Wende Breast Care clinic, conferences at Rochester Institute of Technology, and employee appreciation events in office settings.

I maintain my professional license through New York State and am a professional member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
